Lenten Contemplations

by Julius on April 9, 2009

You might be wondering why posts with earlier dates keep popping up in this blog? Well, it’s because I’m used to writing darfts and just saves them rather than publishing them immediately. I guess it became a matter of habit for me, my impulsiiveness to write something whenever an idea pops in my head. I still have a draft or two in my repertoire that I promised myself to publish later on.

Anyways, it’s Lent and all around the world, people are relieving the passion of christ. For most of them, that is. For us dialysis patients, life goes on on the dialysis chair and we must continue our scheduled treatment sessions no matter what. I had a schedule last holy tuesday and one benefit was that the traffic was quite light due to the holidays.

I for one is a man of faith and believes that this faith is one of the reasons that just keeps me going in spite of all the hardships I go through. For me, faith simply helps you to endure an otherwise unendurable circumstance.

The lenten season serves as a holiday for most people, a breather for some, and a chance at religious renewal for others. How about you? How did Lent went for you?
